While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. For instance, her own power to expunge, while technically light-aligned, destroys Undead dragons, which should make it more akin to darkness. She makes a point of the destructive powers of creation and the power of destruction to create. Some argue that she is more of a 'soul-unrest' than a Soulpeace, especially after hearing her explain how to use life-mana to cause deadly tumors that kill their hosts. She considers a deep understanding of reality to be fundamental to coming to peace with it—something she has yet to do. She is afraid of her own ability to destroy; the fact that she has never been capable of healing magic doesn't help. She follows her mate Chaotiex and the long winter nights. Perhaps the nocturnal lifestyle has done something to her head.
