Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The deepest caves of the Alpine hold the lair of her eminence, the mighty legume herself, the Bean Matriarch. A pearlescent grin flashes through a crowd of preening Albinos at one who would enter here. Bloody, ruby-colored eyes glisten through the shuffling milky hides. A massive maw carrying the grin rises above the group with its eyes still fixated on them. They nervously grin back at the rather large albino and attempt to back away from the grooming dragons. Ultimately failing at doing so, they trip over haricot beans scattered all over the ground. The closest Albinos yip and chirp as though they were laughing, causing the dragons further away to stop and stare. As they help themselves off the ground, they catch a glimpse of the gigantic Albino that still grins at them upon a hill of beans. Her toothy grin had only widened as she watched them plummet. Her tail wraps around the base of the beans, sending small avalanches onto the soft dirt.
