White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Oswald dedicates his time tending to a wild herb garden that he has made behind the clan's main cave. He not only cultivates healing herbs, but also more common fragrant bushes, which he uses to make scented herbal balls that soothe restless hatchlings to sleep. Though he is perfectly capable of healing various scratches, scrapes and bruises, he would rather that other dragons conduct themselves with more care, so they wouldn't need to be cured in the first place.
