Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Pleats has tiny post-it notes on strings attached to her. They are wishes, tied on by hatchlings but are not visible as they are hidden under her folds.

However, during a certain season, Pleats will curl her tail around an overhead beam and hang upside down with her wings spread. Gravity will pull all the little post-it notes in view, still held on by strings. Pleats will hang there for four days, moving only to chirp a polite greeting to the excited adults that come to look at the notes their hatchlings have written.
