Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

From out of the burned forest, past the charred remains of a once flourishing village, this dragon roams throughout the land. She seeks a place to call her own, away from the bad habits of her mother who prefers to burn everything to the ground rather than settle in a territory filled with life. This dragon who has been named by humans as 'Nightmare's Blizzard' (but prefers to be called Bliz) would rather find a secret home teeming with life and potential prey. She wants nothing to do with humans, and doesn't wish to make an enemy of them like her mother has. Her father, Glacier Permafrost has offered her a place in his arctic domain, but she refused and would rather try to make it on her own if she can help it. That and the falling snow reminds her too much of the falling ash from her mother's ferocious and merciless feeding habits.
