Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Dig Dug doesn't speak much; instead, he lets his best friend and fellow Nocturne dragon, 09, talk enough for the both of them. And the two make a strange team indeed, polar opposites from one another but close as brothers. Yet, while Dig Dug appears as mute as a fish, he's definitely not unintelligent. He verbalizes with other dragons through smiles and gestures when 09 isn't around to translate and is the cave's undisputed champion at Charades. He often amuses those around him by freezing into silly positions when the sun rises each morning, an otherwise tedious hindrance for Nocturne dragons. Unfortunately, due to his lack of interest in speaking, little is known about Dig Dug's origins before he was picked up as an egg. He hardly seems bothered by it though, and treats the entire dragon cave as his one, true family.
