Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The first dragon hatched by a rookie thatcher, this whiptail has earned the name of Life Spring. He has always stated that one day he would leave the cave to find his own kind and form a clan of his own to race as he pleases, but it has been years since he was hatched, and that is little more than a joke at this point. With a mate and hatching of his own, Life Spring knows he would not feel more at home anywhere else on the planet. Besides, being his hatcher's first dragon, he has a close bond with her unlike any other in the cave. Being the first dragon gives him a bit of rank anyway or at least that is what he likes to think; however, most of the time, the other dragons in the cave just humor him as they tend to see him as more of an older brother than some wise ruler. When he's not doing his best to keep peace and order, he is challenging his cave mates, new and old alike, to a race, and despite his 'leadership', he has not let everlasting joy leave his heart.
