Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Shiro is a shy and timid dragon as she is found most of them time hiding behind her parents rather than playing with the other hatchings. Due to her unique origin where she hatched from a sickly egg which her parents reluctantly decided to allow to transform into a vampire egg to safe her, She finds herself unable to reach adulthood which frankly suits her just fine. She never blames her parents for their decision, in fact, she is grateful of them as they give her a chance to be "alive". Therefore, she is very clingy to her parents and love to spend her time with them at all time. She is best friend with Hana.
