Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

The Glowing One. A name given to the golden dragon for the shade of his scales. He was first found by that of a monk near his temple, thus having the people consider him as a holy dragon. Though, it was all by coincidence. All the dragon had been doing was scavenging for some food, though, soon he grew used to the monks of the temple. Enjoying the way they treated him, giving him food and a place to sleep. In return, The Glowing One offers protection to the monks and temple from any outside dragons or threats.
