Among the most elusive of dragon breeds are the Aeon Wyverns, a breed whose innate control over time mana marks them singular and great. They are able to peer into the multi-dimensional plane of time, seeing all that is, all that has been, and all that could be—within a small localized zone. When utilizing particularly strong magic, the black markings carved into an Aeon’s body glow a bright cyan, painting them in an ethereal blue light. In the past, they have been sought after as oracles to bring swift resolutions to major conflicts, but it is in exactly such sorts of times that they are nowhere to be found; rather than influence the outcome, Aeons much prefer to allow the natural order of things to progress, however grim that may be.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Red Jacket lives in an isolated hollow deep within a forest. She has peered into the past and future of this area many times, and it has come to hold a special place in her heart. She met her mate there, a Chrono Xenowyrm. It was a chance encounter for him, but she had known about and expected it for a long time. She knows all her children, both in the present and future, and knows exactly when they will leave the hollow to start their own lives. She knows that in the future a clan of pygmies will come to share her home with her, and will remain there for several generations. She also knows that one day in the distant future her mate will leave, never to return. She does not know what becomes of him, but accepts his disappearance as an inevitability.

When this happens, she plans to leave and find a new home. But for the time being she is happy living and reliving the events that happen in her hollow.
