Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Flowering Fields of Dorkface is a pink dragon. He is very energetic and carefree, but he can be surprisingly serious and alert when he needs to. He can often be found in the flowery meadows that blanket the east part of his clan's territory, and he often disappears there for days. Although many dragons of his clan think that he does this because he doesn't want to have to hunt and patrol his clan's territories, the real reason is because he is ashamed of his name. As a hatchling, he hoped he would be called Flowering Fields, but he was told that he was somehow related to 2 extremely distant dragons, 'The Original Midas Dorkface' and 'Shallynaar', and because of that, he would have to have 'dorkface' in his name. Having no choice, he reluctantly accepted it, but ever since then, he has come to hate and resent whoever those two dragons were, and he wishes he could have a normal name like everyone else.
