Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Goyla hates to be frozen solid. She is absolutely terrified of being in such a helpless state and therefore never leaves the safety of the vast interconnected caverns where many members of her clan have their lair.

Staying inside all the time has its disadvantages though, even if her clanmates keep her well-nourished, and Goyla gets bored easily. After discovering that she was able to hold still for long periods of time she has developed a quite addicting hobby: Goyla spends most of her time hanging quietly from the ceiling of a cave or tunnel watching her fellow dragons.

Her unassuming appearance enables her to go unnoticed by almost every dragon, and she probably knows more about her clan mates than any of them know.

Every time she sees one of the more aggressive or unfriendly dragons terrorize a helpless hatchie or peaceful Mint, she suddenly drops down on them screeching loudly, scaring them badly.

This way she battles her boredom and fear of helplessness at the same time.
