Mint colored dragons are the most peaceful of all dragons; they only eat plants unless they scavenge meat from an already dead animal. They also have no ways to attack others or defend themselves. They are much smaller than other forms of dragons since they only double in size when they mature. Mint dragons are unable to use magic and cannot fly since they lack wings. Their looks have given rise to the common insult of calling dragons “large lizards.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Norman is an odd character and a good friend- you can be sure of his loyalty and honesty, the two personal traits Norman bases himself on. He's a very lonely dragon though, he always needs to have a friend at his side. Without one, he is heartless and becomes miserable. Norman grew up in a nest with three other dragons but has never really made a special bond with any of them. Pryce and Whitner went their way and Bronzor just left, leaving Norman isolated and heart broken. He then remained in the the area of his nest, too fearful to leave before finally drawing up the courage to go out in hopes of finding a new friend. After a few years of traveling the mainlands, Norman finally met his match, the friend that he had searched for for so long. He made a close bonding with the black dragon Tindera who even though was younger than Norman, became a parental influence to him. Norman and Tindera are now never apart and although quite different and have their bickers, they remain insperable.
