Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

umAlI the Bananas is a professional protester. She stands on the street corner from nine to five every day with a sign. If nobody has hired her to protest anything specific, which is quite often, she holds up a sign that reads, "I DEMAND ...uh... ALL THE BANANAS!" There is enough speculation as to whether the sign or the name came first that somebody could get a degree on it—and indeed, 0dOcD has. umAlI the Bananas carries her "I DEMAND ...uh... ALL THE BANANAS!" sign around as a hobby, and can often be seen clutching it with one forepaw as she tries to steal bananas from other Madder Jungle neotropicals. She gets a lot of attention from Zinso and 0fSiX. Some suspect that the two of them believe umAlI the Bananas is a morphodrake like themselves because she carries signs, but there is not enough speculation to support a full degree. Perhaps a research paper or two.
