Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Carrionna was named what she is named because she never fears and always says when one's in doubt, "Carry on." Her owner would have named her Carry-on, but that just makes her sound dumb.

   Carrionna, as most black dragons are, is a warrior. She works hard and is always training if she is not eating or sleeping. She may be a very vicious dragon, and quite strong, too, but when the day is done, she loves to cuddle up with her owner.

   The only world Carrionna knows is a castle always being attacked by evil, possessed dragons who never knew good. She has always wanted some help, maybe a few more black dragons, but she's fine how she is.
