Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Elder Riddle was once known throughout the land as "the dark one".

In the first dragon war, it was he who controlled vast armies and destroyed lives for his betterment. One of these lives was the only love of Elder Severus, his trusted commander.

Severus became a spy against Riddle and in the final battle of the war, was defeated by Severus.

Left for dead, Riddle tried to find help in a nearby cave. There he was nursed back to help by a young striped dragon. Riddle fell in love and renounced his evil ways.

Riddle, afraid that one day he would be caught, decided to lie about his real name.

Riddle is seen near every site of his killings, trying to make up for the damage he has caused.
