Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Shimmering Moonmist is a very go-with-the-flow type of dragon. He is very proud and loves to do things that everyone does. However, he likes to do very heroic (and sometimes foolish) things sometimes for others in need. He also likes to show off his beautiful mate, Misty Moonstones of Snow, and brings her wherever he goes.
