Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Imagiro Ryuu is the product of Ilnejal's research into creating a lighter, stronger, more flexible parchment.  Once Ilnejal could use telekinesis to fold a sheet of parchment into intricate shapes without it tearing, the logical next step was for him to bring one of his folded dragon models to life.  Imagiro has quickly become a valuable library assistant—he's memorized the location of every scroll and memory crystal in the Goldenmage Assembly's vast library, and can easily lead trainees to just what they were looking for, and even things they didn't know they needed.  Imagiro's only failing is that he isn't large enough to re-shelve anything, but the dragons that use the library are always glad to help him out by doing the heavy lifting for him and replacing what they've taken out.
