Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hues is named so because of the many colors that reflect off of his scales. Like many of the Silver dragons, Hues lives in the mountains. The particular mountain Hues dwells by is famed for the auroras that mysteriously appear, the stars that shine brightly above, and for absorbing and reflecting the suns' rays. Although the mountain peaks are covered with snow, they are more than not to be painted in the colors of the sun. Finding the Rainbow Mountain, Hues called this his own territory. When other dragons come to see him, he's more colorful than just silver. Other Silver dragons have attempted to emulate him, but all have failed, and Hues the colorful has remained a mystery.
