Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her name is Genwaku Nisshou but her clan calls her Goldie. She is one very mean dragon. You can't blame her though. After all, she was traumatized as a hatchling and never really got over it. She was the hatchling that Kouhei Koumeiseidai defended from a dragon scale hunter. She compensates for it by playing with her food, literally... Her food often consists of dragon scale hunters who have tried attacking her for her scales. She will chase her food around the cave, toss it in the air and catch it again, and even scratch out tick tack toe on it. The other dragons wish she would stop doing that, as it disrupts the cave and scares the clans hatchlings. Ah well, that's goldie for you.
