Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Empty Canvas is a sickly and thin dragon. He is always coming down with something or suffering from some mysterious pain. To add to his natural frailty, he has the magical ability to feel the physical pain of others. Almost always in pain, he has become subdued and almost completely silent. His gaze is brooding and sad, and he never smiles at all. The only time he will speak is after a battle, where his agonized shrieks will echo through the cave. He insists upon battling even when he is ill and so after a battle he will usually be injured, but on top of that he will be feeling the pain of others. A few hours after a battle he will become more subdued then ever, sometimes lying around for weeks without moving a muscle. Although he deals with agonizing pain, he is one of the toughest-minded dragons in the cave. Constant pain taught him from an early age how to face and handle the unfairness of the world, part of the reason he insists upon fighting in battles.
