Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.
Dragons don’t communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.
Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.
Nearly every dragon in his cave loves this humorous and handsome dragon- especially the ladies. They chase after Lennon day in and day out, but he never seems to tire of it. He has a beautiful roar and can be heard humming upbeat tunes throughout the day. The elders slightly look down at his trouble making behavior at times. He oftentimes passive-aggressively instigates a fight just for the heck of it. Although Lennon is quite the troublemaker, he always tries to make everyone give peace a chance. His best friend in the cave is McCartney, and they can frequently be seen together chatting or humming in unison.
