Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Stickwaterballet never stood out among the other ribbon dancers when dancing. Sure, she was graceful, and could twist and leap like the rest of them, but she simply lacked expressiveness—that connection with the audience. Her dances were always cold and technical, disengaged. Passionless.

Then, she discovered sports.

The same grace that took her through dance routines could get her around the stickballwater, and she danced through tryouts with an energy that was never present in the dance hall. She changed her name to distance herself from the poor dancer she once was, and after a few seasons playing with the Nworset Pipefish, she moved to Lloyprij and started her own team, the Lloyprij Leviathans. She originally wanted to name her team the Lloyprij Llamas, but was out-voted by teammates who felt a stickwaterball team must have an aquatic mascot.
