Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

People sometimes needed to cross the desert, for one reason or another. Usually they are well prepared and manage to get to their destination with little more than a case of sunburn, but there are some who badly underestimate their chances and do not take the correct precautions.

Bayla will often come across them, suffering from heatstroke and dying slowly under the burning sun. She takes them back to her den and lets them recover in the shade, giving them water as she nurses them back to health. Many of her patients will eventually leave and continue on their way, but should they die Bayla will devour them, so as not to waste precious nutrients.
