Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When she hatched on Friday the 13th, her superstitious master did the only thing she could do when her first gold dragon hatched on a Friday the 13th: name her Lucky. Lucky herself is a no-nonsense dragon, and adamantly claims she doesn't believe in bad luck from stupid things like birthdays. She is very unamused by her name and always bickers with her master. Lucky spends a great deal of time digging horseshoes and piles of four leaf clover out of her treasure hoard which her master had snuck in when she wasn't looking.

As a consequence of constantly having to deal with her master's superstitions, she is extremely grumpy and intolerant of silliness, leading her to bouts of explosive rage when she sees the King of the Whole Entire World (also known as Tim Tam) parading around with his mint army like a fool. Although it's rare for her to actually seriously injure anyone, most dragons flee in fear when they see her coming in a bad mood.
