Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Arrayipan's egg was swept down by a gentle breeze into Arcait's cave when he was abandoned. He was raised by Arinam and is rather solitary. Arrayipan works in the nursery with hatchlings and eggs. The nursery is in the cave to the right to Arcait's. The mothers and female dragons are in there after breeding until they fully regain there ability to breed. He uses soothing breezes to rock them to sleep. Arrayipan raises almost all abandoned hatchlings and eggs, unless one of the others wants to raise one. His favorite charges are other gray dragons. Arrapian's mate is Leafpools. Sometimes they give away their precious eggs to other dragon owners when the nursery is full.
