Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is made out of paper, and is so small and light, you can hold it on one finger.
The pieces have rearranged themselves to form little wings which it uses to glide around.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don’t grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

This tiny enchanted Dragon was named for the Indonesian word for "folded". Friendly and outgoing, this otherwise well-behaved little paper Dragon has a guilty pleasure: eavesdropping. She loves sneaking around and listening to other people's conversations. Her favorite technique is to rearrange herself to look like a forgotten note, or a piece of scrap paper. She'll settle herself somewhere she knows others will be conversing, and wait patiently for someone to come along with some gossip. Little Melipat isn't necessarily listening for anything in particular; she just likes the thrill of being somewhere she's not meant to be, and  hearing the grown-ups talk about adult things! Unfortunately for this little sneak, some of the more observant Dragons are catching on to her disguises, so she's taken it upon herself to learn Origami, in order to expand her range of camouflage!
