Blacktip Dragons are a small, shore-dwelling breed that tend to nest on sheer ocean side cliffs. They live in groups under a dominant female, who prevents her subordinates from breeding. During the mating season, a group of Blacktips can be very noisy and smelly indeed; males produce a distinctive musky odor and loud, low-pitched honking noises in an attempt to woo the alpha female.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

tj3 is one of the more vocal eccentrics in Nworset City. Her full name is tj3sD, but she doesn't like the last two letters. She believes that Valkemare was created by a single individual, one whose prowess makes him a demigod in a race so powerful that a week for them is like a hundred years for a dragon. That individual created the whole of Valkemare and is known only as 'TJ', or occasionally as an unpronounceable symbol that looks like a diamond with a lightning bolt splitting the blue left from the silver right.

Being blessed with the Creator's name in her own, and something deeper inside her that makes her who she is, tj3 considers herself a priestess of this god. She worships him and his word, insisting that his well-being is the most important thing that keeps the world alive. A few of the other Nworset dragons will spare a word or an offering, but most are too focused on day-to-day living to worry about it. It doesn't bother her because none of them are graced with his initials.
