Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Elder Severus was under the command of a dark-hearted dragon.

In the first dragon war, he supported the power of this evil dragon. It wasn't until the evil one killed the only dragon Severus loved did he change. Out of vengeance, Severus acted as a spy against the evil one ...

In the last battle of the war, Severus was pitted against the dark dragon.

They both suffered heavy damage, but in the end, Severus' rage for losing his love defeated the dark one.

Messender of Thoth, the leader and wisest dragon in this cave, healed Severus and offered him to stay with the rest of the dragons. With no where else to turn to, he accepted and was established as one of the best training teachers in the cave.
