Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The first thing that draws anyone to Ker-Bear Sparklepants is her strange name. Although most laugh (quite hard) at it at first, they soon find it is a fitting name. It was a cute pet name she was given as a young hatchling and it stuck. Ker-Bear originates from the fact that she has such a sweet, caring, and gentle personality. She cares about everyone, and on the flip side, everyone cares about her. The Bear part of her name stems from the fact that once, as a hatchling, she was found playing with bear cubs. The dragons that found her had to rescue her from an extremely agitated mother bear. The Sparklepants part of her name comes from the fact her white scales dazzle in the moonlight (not in the sunlight like some vampires). Although this fact also makes most others laugh at first, once they see it they are too dazzled by the beauty of the phenomenon to poke fun at her anymore. Although it is a strange name, it fits her quite well.
