Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

In an unmemorable village that sits between two mountains lies a terrible guardian. Any who venture past the town's walls don't come back alive, leaving grieving families. Travelers are trapped with the rest of the inhabitants, their lives spared when they walk to the town, but forfeited when they try to leave. Any who look over the walls at night, trying to create an escape plan, find that they don't want to test fate. Their own eyes catch the gaze of scarlet red orbs, and all feel as if a blood-soaked noose has tightened around their necks.

While no one ever comes back to the village alive, the mornings after they leave are always heavy with horror. Their rooms and housings are covered with what is presumed are the people themselves, the walls painted red and strands strung up on the lighting fixtures.

Sometimes, bits of stone are scattered about with the organic mixture. While there were a few rumors, all have died since the guessers came home to houses destroyed by chunks of rock.
