Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Masquerade Mystery is a dragon who loves to dance, like her fellow Royal Blue dragon Doin the Moonwalk, and the frozen hatchies, Flamenco Wing and Little Greenspots. However, she prefers masquerade balls, where she can be herself, while others hide themselves behind masks. She hates how horrific monsters are depicted with masks, which she finds are supposed resemble mystery and beauty.
