Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Like her non-identical twin Panthera Azurea, Panthera Verde likes pebble games. But there the likeness ends. She is happy with who she is; she likes being green. It may not always be easy—but it is who she is. And being green is useful when you need to hide among leaves to catch the insects she depends upon. It is a lot easier to sneak up on them than to hover and swoop.

As well as pebble games, Panthera Verde likes air-jousting—a sport which few in the cave are agile enough to play well, so she generally wins. She likes to win—she's fiercely competitive, to put it mildly, and if Whiplash Perfecta can get into the Dragolympics, so can Panthera Verde—as soon as she can arrange for air-jousting to become a recognised sport. Until then she will carry on eating stag beetles. It's commonly believed that they build strength.
