Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As one of the second generation of Elemental Dragons, Diamond Queen completed her rite of passage into adulthood on the same day a human queen celebrated her 60th year of her reign. To commemorate the joint occasion, the geode dragon decided to honour both her adulthood and the remarkable achievement of the mortal ruler by taking on the name of Diamond Queen of the Elements. Diamond was selected as not only was it a precious gem, similar to the crystals that grew in the wings of all Geodes, but it was also symbolic of the 60 years of duty and honour that the human queen had already served to her people. Beautiful and healthy, Diamond Queen endeavors to match the grace and wisdom of her chosen namesake.
