Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Callas is known far beyond the limits of the Moonsilver Artists' Association and the clan, not because she writes clever lyrics or beautiful melodies but because of the sheer range of her voice. She not only reaches heights that are beyond most mammals' hearing range but she does so with a precision that is unmatched by her contemporaries. The other thing that really impresses her peers is the fact that—although she is not exactly loud—she has mastered a technique to project her voice in a way that can be heard everywhere in the audience. The thing that doesn't impress them though is her temperament and capriciousness, she is after all a real diva.
