Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

After the failed rebellion of the Districts against the tyranny of the Capitol, the President of Circenses decreed an annual tournament to be held in which sixteen tributes, two from each district, would be locked in an arena, only one of them allowed to leave alive. These are the Starving Games.

An involuntarily participant in the brutal Games, Blacksmith felt scandalized when his name was called out as a tribute. Nevertheless, he felt quite confident in his chances of surviving. Proficient in blacksmithing and other crafting skills, he had an advantage over many other tributes. What he lacked in strength he would make up in ingenuity. Only one thing frightened him; hiding would be no good with the glowing scales he had always taken so much pride in. Blacksmith set his hopes on gathering enough supplies from the Cornucopia to see him out of the arena safely.
