Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Locust Rose is one of the most peaceful dragons on Dragon Isle. Born long ago in the spring, she came to the island to rest her weary wings. However, when she discovered the community, she decided to make it her permanent home.

Locust Rose is one of the oldest dragons of the community, and she is viewed as a sort of grandmother by some of the isle's residents. Many flock to her to hear her tell her tales of whimsical adventuring and fighting knights; nobody is quite sure if the stories are really true, but they are exciting nonetheless.

Locust Rose is considered a leader of the hatchery staff, along with Kelasia and Fanaos. She is very gentle and nurturing in nature, and is able to lull hatchlings to sleep with ease. The hatchery staff is very thankful to have her around because of her ability to calm younger dragons.

In her spare time, Locust Rose loves to write stories and read old scrolls. She also takes interest other dragon's lineage, and will try to map out family trees.
