Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.
User Description
The other dragons aren't going to eat this one. The idea had been debated back and forth and philosophized to no end when it first arrived, but level heads prevailed at last. Hindrance, the leader of the clan, decreed that the strange cheese dragon would be allowed to live with them with no nibbling permitted. The dragon was therefore named Aren't as a daily reminder to others that they did not get to touch.
Needless to say, the chickens are incredibly envious of Aren't level of security.
