Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Volatile from the day of her hatching, Tempest has always been louder, fiercer, and bolder than her kin. She sought the wild places of the earth and mastered them, and vowed she would submit to no other beast beneath the sun. So perhaps it was inevitable that, when a shy male came courting her, she rejected him.

This wrathful refusal soon earned her the scolding of her clan-mother, a human woman who had been the first to discover and rear the rare tawny hued shadow walkers from which Tempest was herself descended. The chastisement came not because she'd disliked the male, for all could love whom they wished, but rather because her refusal had also involved an uncalled bout of violence against her unlucky suitor.

Choosing to depart the cave rather than bear the lecture, the fiery dragon now carves her own way through the world. While age and humiliation have done little to lessen her pride, she still firmly allies with good over evil, and helps those worthy of her to fight darkness.
