Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Pi was the first dragon to arrive at the clan during the great Fractional Pie Day exodus of 36 AH. On her journey she had met several wonderful humans, like Natayah and Dimar, but in the end she arrived at Herk's clan and was easily convinced to stay with this ragtag band of chaotic individuals.

Pi fits right with the rest of the clan who accepted her infinitely facetted, ever-changing personality without a hitch. Many have thought they had figured her out but Pi always surprises them with new aspect of herself. Pi insists that she really is a very simple dragoness, once people would stop trying to put her into categories. She might not have integrity. She might not be rational. But once you realise that she is simply defined by her relations to the dragons around her, she holds no great mystery anymore. In fact after that realisation, Pi's personality almost seems like a comforting, universal constant.
