Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

He Who Sends Rage To Burn Hearts is a hunter for the weyr, though his preference for hunting only in the light of the full moon means that he brings home far fewer prey than his fellow black dragons.  He usually spends the rest of the month in the weyr playing games with Lord Of All Knowledge or the hatchlings.  He is known as a particularly deadly mage, however, when it comes to hunting, and the others believe that somehow the full moon must be connected to his powerful spells, which confuse the minds of humans, animals, and dragons alike.  His mate, Lady Of Music And Beauty, has occasionally sent him on missions of retribution against the humans who stole their eggs and did not properly care for them.
