Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Scintillating Glory was curious. He kept looking down on a patch of pretty flowers, but everything near them was dried up and dead, and animals avoided the area like it was the plague. It was odd, it was just this big silhouette shaped dead grass area. Very odd.

After his slight curiosity finally got to him, he decided to try and grow some seeds there. Nothing grew, even with magical aid. He tried planting grown plants, they all died within a day regardless of their health or size.

He didn't want to disturb the pretty flowers, but he couldn't help himself. And what did he know—but a dragoness' head came up from under the ground! She explained that she eats the plants with her parasitic vines. She offered to bear his children for being nice to her—which he didn't know what she meant—but he couldn't say no!
