Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
While all Stripes love insects for eating purposes, this male is also fond of them for another reason. Mosquitoes, butterflies, and crickets meet their deaths in his jaws, but silk moths are immune, the dragon instead carefully collecting the fuzzy creatures and releasing them into an enclosure made of fine cloth. There he cares for them, and in return reaps the reward of silk from their offspring, collecting long swathes of the beautiful textile and exchanging the fabric for gold, books, food, and whatever else strikes his fancy. However, while most of his wares are sold for such purposes, he keeps the finest of his products as gifts for the one he adores, a particularly beautiful Rosebud dragon.
