Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dawn stretched her wings out to enjoy the fullest bask of the early morning sun as possible. Up above, various sunset dragons were beginning to swoop down from the skies, and land for their nap. She could never really understand how they managed to be able to sleep on such a beautiful day, or how they found enough joy in the nights to be able to stay up.

Noticing other Sunrise dragons, she flew over to greet them, then soon began a conversation. She, and all the other Sunrise dragons she met, always got along well with anyone, even the dragons who preferred being solitary. But they would always belong in a different clan, and her dream is to have a friend like herself in her own.
