Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

While flight and running is the moving method of most Whiptails, Ravenclaw's Bronze River is at his fastest when he is moving in a body of water. Swimming has been his passion ever since his mother birthed him into a small river, being short-sighted enough to mistake him for a water egg. His father still looks at him strangely whenever he sees his son choosing swimming in a river over the running along the coast beside it. But even he has to admit that his son is probably one of the fastest Whiptails at swimming, a discipline few of their kind ever actually consider.

Bronze River doesn't really care what the others think, feeling the most comfortable surrounded by water up to the chest. He certainly wouldn't choose a mate that's not spending at least as much time in water as he is. Perhaps he'll look for a water dragon like his mother to court.
