Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

In the dark of a blustery, late November day, a single, solitary, silver egg trembled in the wind, then tumbled, unnoticed, from its nest, and into the cold, falling night.

It lay on the hard, frozen ground, so small and fragile as the sun's light exploded on the horizon in unimaginable colors,and then stole slowly, softly from the sky.

That night it snowed as never before, a freak early snowstorm that turned all the colours of the world to blinding white. And beneath that white cloak, a cold silver egg lay hidden. Shivering within fragile eggshell walls.

Winter Storm's egg was discovered the next day, almost frozen through, but the fire dragons all pitched in and he survived and hatched perfectly healthy. He loves snow storms.
