Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The dragon is a creamy white in color, though it seems to handle being in the sunlight with relative ease. A pair of leathery, similar to a bat's, wings sprout from his back, being somewhat thin, but still strong enough to lift the creature into the air with little to no trouble. A set of black horns curl from his forehead, seeming somewhat out-of-place with his pale skin. His face is serpentine in shape, complete with a long neck sprouting from its body, which is currently resting on the ground, in a form similar to a dog when lying down. Two ruby eyes adorn his pale face, each displaying a look of mistrust, as if he's unsure of the safety of his family with visitors near.

Somul is a humble dragon, but don't confuse humbleness for weakness. He'll stand up for others—even complete strangers. Other dragons prefer hunting, but Somul would rather let food come to him, in fact, he's rather patient about everything, not just food. Despite his immense patience, even he can sense trouble.
