Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Greater Mingo is the most widespread Flamingo wyvern, living among his bird relatives in parts of Africa, Southern Europe and South (sometimes Southwest) Asia.  His taste for brine shrimp is what gives him such a rosy hue.  G Mingo likes to tease his bird brained relatives and often swoops down on then while they are asleep on one foot.  When they topple over, he calls this 'mingo tipping' and his laughter can be heard for miles.  With his massive wing span, he is gone before his pink-feathered friends know what even happened!
