Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A small dragon was thrust away from the group. She clambered around, wanting to see what was causing all the excitement. She was only a baby, ready to play, ready to bother the adults. She peeked through the legs of the older dragons and saw they were all looking at a golden egg with strange leaf markings. One of the elder dragons noticed her and shushed her away. The hatchling thought nothing, but every time she made her way back she got the same result. She was never let back into the group of dragons, and watched from afar as the egg hatched and the young dragon was pampered and loved. Forgotten became bitter. She was vicious, attacking anything that came across her path. One day she came across a brown creature that looked upon her with a familiar curiosity. Forgotten growled, hatred burning and bubbling, wanting nothing to do with the thing that ruined her life. She heard his voice inside her head and the Autumn sat down with her. Together, Autumn Oak and Forgotten found peace.
