Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Humpback Tides is a bit of a loner. He is quite self-sufficient and doesn't mind a company of one. In fact, Humpback Tides is often found alone in a small, deep lake somewhere. He claims that he likes to think "alone in my own mind". His mother, Indigo Ocean, became rather worried for her son, for he doesn't like most females, and considers the idea of love "ridiculous".
